Agreement to Terms
Welcome to the Orlissavex digital platform. This document serves as a formal service agreement between you, the passenger, and Orlissavex, a cruise ship operator based in Hong Kong.
By accessing our website and initiating the booking process, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these provisions in their entirety. This relationship is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and applicable maritime safety regulations.
We aim to provide a transparent experience for all passengers. If you are booking for a group, you confirm that you have the authority to bind all individuals in that party to these standards. We reserve the right to update these clauses to stay aligned with evolving local legislative requirements.
Reservation Procedures
To secure a spot on one of our voyages, passengers must first select their desired itinerary and cabin through our online portal. Upon completing the digital reservation form, Orlissavex will hold the requested seat for a period of exactly 48 hours from the timestamp of the online reservation.
This temporary hold allows passengers sufficient time to arrange their travel logistics and visit our physical location to finalize the booking. If the subsequent payment steps are not completed within this 48-hour window, the reservation will automatically expire, and the seat will be released back into our general inventory for other travelers to book.
Payment Schedules
The finalization of your booking requires a physical visit to ensure security and compliance with our localized operational standards. Passengers are required to visit our registered office located at Tung Wui Commercial Building, 27 Prat Ave, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. To complete the transaction and secure the seat, the full amount must be paid in cash at this location.
We do not process digital payments for the final balance through the website. Once the cash payment is processed by our staff, your status will change from a temporary hold to a confirmed passenger, and your boarding documentation will be issued for your upcoming journey.
Cancellation and Modification
User Cancellations
We recognize that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Passengers are permitted to cancel their reservations at any time until the day of the journey. If a cancellation request is submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled date of the journey, the passenger is eligible for a full refund of the fees paid. However, should a passenger decide to cancel their trip on the actual day of the journey, a deduction of 50% will be applied to the total charges, with the remaining balance being returned to the individual.
Upon a valid cancellation, our team will request your bank credentials to initiate the return. We aim to process the release of funds within 24 hours of receiving the request and necessary details. While we act quickly, it may take up to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank provider.
Platform/Operator Changes
In rare instances, maritime conditions or port authority directives may require Orlissavex to alter an itinerary or adjust sailing times. We will communicate such changes via the contact details provided during the booking process.
If an entire sailing is cancelled by the operator, passengers will be offered an alternative date or a full return of their funds.
Administrative Fees
While we do not charge hidden fees for standard changes, the 50% deduction for same-day cancellations serves as an administrative cost to cover the lost opportunity of re-filling the vacant seat on short notice.
Traveler Obligations
Passengers must ensure they possess all valid identification and travel documents required by Hong Kong immigration and international maritime law. It is the responsibility of the traveler to arrive at the designated terminal at least two hours before the scheduled departure. We expect a standard of conduct that ensures the safety of all individuals on board.
Failure to comply with the instructions of the ship’s crew or engaging in behavior that disrupts the voyage may result in removal from the vessel without a refund. Additionally, passengers must disclose any specific logistical needs during the booking process to ensure we can accommodate them effectively within our operational capabilities.
Boarding and Punctuality
It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to be present at the designated port at the correct time for all boarding processes. Passengers must arrive at the port at least 1 hour before the scheduled journey to allow for check-in and security procedures. If a passenger fails to show up by the required time, the vessel will depart the port without delay to maintain its schedule. In such cases where the passenger misses the departure, no refunds will be issued for the missed voyage.
Limitation of Responsibility
Orlissavex acts as the direct operator of the maritime voyages. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by inappropriate weather conditions, mechanical issues beyond standard maintenance, or government-mandated port closures. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the passenger for the specific journey.
We are not liable for incidental costs such as airfare or hotel stays incurred due to changes in the sailing schedule. Passengers are encouraged to obtain independent travel insurance to cover unforeseen events. For any queries, our team is available via the live website at help@orlissavex.com. We provide active support from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Hong Kong Time (HKT).
